Producing a Story (Kobre Chapter 4)

-Making a plan or storyboard of how you want to present the story

-Pick Primary Characters: These are the people who would get the story across to the viewers well and make meaningful contributions to what you are presenting. Don't pick a public figure or official, go search for someone with an untold story.

-Check with the experts...constantly. As your story is changing you need to have experts take on what you are reporting.

-Look for those powerful quotes and use them in the towards the beginning of the story as a hook. Don't be cliche or boring. You will lose your audience fairly quick. Keep them engaged because that's the point!

-Don't just immediately give away everything you have to say. Keep it interesting by really surprising the viewers. It's good to give them audio or visuals first and the context after.
