Marketing a Story (Kobre 16)

-Shoot first, sell later. Focus on actually getting the material you need to create a story. Find something interesting that is worth telling to your audience and go shoot it. Focus on everything else, like marketing, after you've shot everything.

-Fully commit yourself to the story. If you wait around unsure, you can miss it. Just go do it.

-Aim for a wide audience. Usually, what you are sharing everyone on the national level should be possibly interested or to relate to it in some way.

-Find the sweet spot for the time. You need to make sure that if it is a longer piece, you divide it because everyone can't sit through one long story. They are also more likely to be engaged when it is broken up.

-Be better and different.
